Almost All the Flowers in My Mother’s Garden examines the complex relationships between mothers and daughters through images and text. The series consists of over a hundred images, portraits of flowers my mother grows in her garden in the southeast part of Finland. The text accompanying the images was collected through a writing exercise that was sent to a multitude of female identifying artists. The text is an amalgamation of intimate memories of mothers.

The series was published as a book in 2022 by Khaos Publishing.  Almost All the Flowers in My Mother’s Garden was a finalist in the Photobook of the Year 2022 and was selected to the Most Beautiful Books of 2022 collection by the Finnish Book Art Committee. The book has now two sold out editions.
